The house
Beer garden
Far from the noise of the city and right in the middle of it. Open daily from 3 pm.
Always something on
A Whitsun concert with a carnival band, a summer vintage flea market, flowers from a vending machine in autumn and a Christmas forest in winter. There is nearly always something going on in the beer garden of Ballhaus Berlin that is hard to find anywhere else.

Six segments of the Berlin Wall
The courtyard holds six sections of the Berlin Wall painted by Ben Wagin. Until 1989 the Wall ran across Chausseestrasse only 500 metres from Ballhaus Berlin and cut the city in two.
An urban sun trap
As the only gap in the otherwise closed row of Chausseestrasse, the beer garden benefits from its bright, open position. In good weather it is a fine place from 3 pm to relax, talk, perhaps even work. Classically over a beer, freshly poured from the Alt Berlin tap, or over a Berliner Brause. Try a tarte flambee or an original Berlin meatball as well.
